We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve Countdown Stack.
If you sign in through the app, we may collect limited personal details (such as your first name, last name, and email address) to create and manage your account. This information is used solely to enable features like syncing and account recovery.

If you choose not to sign in, no personal information is collected or linked to you.
We never sell, share, or use your data for advertising or tracking purposes.

Sign In

Countdown Stack offers an optional sign-in feature through our secure API. If you choose to sign in, your account information (such as your first name, last name, email address, and countdown data) is securely linked to your profile to enable syncing, recovery, and a more personalized experience. If you use the app without signing in, your countdowns may still be stored temporarily on our servers to allow synchronization and data continuity, but this data is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you.

We do not sell, share, or use any of this information for advertising or marketing purposes. All communication with our servers is protected using modern encryption standards.

Data Storage

We do not have access to your iCloud account or personal identifiers associated with your Apple ID. Any data stored on our servers is handled solely for app functionality and remains private. For more information about iCloud, please refer to Apple’s iCloud Terms and Conditions.

Subscription & In-App Purchases

The app may offer premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions managed via Apple’s App Store. We do not process or store any payment information directly. All subscription billing, management, and cancellations are handled by Apple. You can manage your subscriptions by visiting your Apple ID account settings. For details, refer to Apple’s Terms of Sale. We may securely store the status of your subscription to enable premium features, but this data is not shared with third parties.

Widgets

If you use homescreen or lockscreen widgets, the app displays data directly on your device. No widget data is transmitted externally, and it remains secure and private within Apple’s ecosystem.

Notifications

If you enable countdown reminders, the app may send local notifications processed directly on your device or, in some cases, server-based notifications to keep your reminders up to date across devices. These notifications are limited to countdown-related alerts and are never used for marketing or promotional purposes. All notifications are sent securely and respect your device settings and permissions.

Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking technologies.

Children’s Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. Countdown Stack is designed for general audiences and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information such as names or email addresses from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account or provided personal information, we will promptly delete that data.

Children may still use the app’s local features without signing in, as these do not require or transmit any personal information.
